I want to let you know that you can still submit your RAD project to me. A few students have shared and it makes my day!!
Also, we are developing a wellness blog for all of our students so stay tuned for this update.
Please take care, have a self-care plan and keep your whole selves as healthy as possible. Physical, Social, Emotional, Mental.

Staying Active and getting Outdoors to stay Physically Active
Hi Grade 7!!
Wow! Who could have known that things would have become so different for us so quickly? While School is not open for us to learn together, we can still do our best to keep ourselves physically fit and healthy.
Last week, we started a PSA in groups that demonstrated understanding of the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle. I challenge you to get in as many activities as you can (indoors and outdoors) that help to keep you (and hopefully your families) physically active and feeling great inside and out.
Our physical, mental and emotional health will appreciate the active breaks we take in our day.
If you would like to email me some of your active strategies that I can share to our blog, please let me know.
So keep on walking, tik-toking, dancing, running, playing ball hockey, playing in the snow, sledding, walking your dog, wi, yoga, etc.
I hope you know that each of you are in my thoughts and I know that while things seem a little strange, that we will get through this and the importance of listening to trusted sources of information rather than 'anecdotal' information from social media followings.
"
Stay active, be well.
Peace,
Ms. Owen
